Favorite traditions for Christmas
Submitted by electrictimeagain on Fri, 08/25/2006 - 15:22.Hi, I'm in the process of making new traditions for Christmas. It's just me and my daughter and I want to make special traditions with her. Can anyone give me any new fun ideas to help me with this? Thanks.
Getting the flooded house ready for Christmas
Submitted by druffing on Tue, 08/22/2006 - 01:54.I don't have a house yet...it is still under major mess with very slow construction going on...dh was in hospital again last week with heart incident again and also 5 bleeding stomach ulcers...
He is so stressed about this house.
So, anyway, I need to start now to plan which rooms to work on first so we can have Christmas. The living room and kitchen of course. And the bathroom that is non-existant right now.
I would love to put up all my trees this year. But, I have little furniture from the flood and no flooring...except for living room and bedrooms.
I need to find all my info and binders. I have so much info.
I do know my colors this year are silver and white. I got my paper last year on sale. Otherwise I would use brights...it is so depressing here. Certainly not elegant...like silver and white.

Another Summer day
Submitted by snowflake on Mon, 07/16/2007 - 23:58.This day is hot and muggy. The air is so heavy with moisture that it's sticky, and that is unusual in Utah. We are a desert state. The garden is green and growing fast. Pumpkins are in bloom. And me, as usual----I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.

Hello, I'm new and I love Christmas
Submitted by bertha on Wed, 03/14/2007 - 15:26.Hi Everyone! I'm new here, and, like most of you, I love Christmas and everything about it. I also love to prepare for it all through the year. I really think that Christmas is not a date, but a state of mind!
