Christmas 2006
Went Shopping today. . .
Submitted by Krisann Blair on Sat, 07/01/2006 - 01:14.Bath and Body Works is having their yearly sale and I did good. I purchased a total of 12 gifts for under $30. Several of the gifts were large lotions I got at 75% off and I will "wrap" them in wine bottle gift bags and tissue paper. I have already assigned all but 3 of the gifts. Those 3 I plan to use as "emergency gifts" that I may need - they were regular $11. I did not buy anything that was not 75% off :)
I am more than 75% of the way to having my Christmas shopping done for this year!!!

New Item for My Organizing
Submitted by Krisann Blair on Thu, 02/02/2006 - 15:10.Well last night I went shopping - from my home - in a catalog - and purchased a hand-made basket that is a card file basket to use for my cards that are part of the Christmas Organizing system. I sell the baskets so it is fun to look through the book and find baskets I can use in my Christmas Organizing.

More gifts purchased
Submitted by Krisann Blair on Wed, 01/18/2006 - 14:36.I picked up 4 more gifts this past week - 4 blankets - they were regularly priced at $20 and I got them for $5 each! This goes right along with my gift theme of "Warmth"
Once I decide exactly who gets these I will do some embordory on them.
Now I am waiting on scarves and gloves to on sale :)

I know people are reading . . .
Submitted by Krisann Blair on Wed, 01/18/2006 - 14:01.I am finding out people I know personally are actually reading my blog :) (which is a good thing) because I had someone say "I am not on your Christmas list" and I had to explain that not everyone on my list is on here - I will be adding to it all the time :)
The one thing I cannot do though is to add what I am getting each person - I may tell about gifts in general without telling who they are for :)
I am actally thinking of doing a numbering system so I can keep everyone straight.

Fun Stocking Stuffer
Submitted by Krisann Blair on Sun, 01/01/2006 - 21:43.Every year I try to find a post it note pad with a cute saying on it. I normally put this in our stockings. This year I found one for me! The saying is (and I am sure many of you already know it but I had not seen it before):
STRESSED
(is just desserts spelled backwards)
I am going to try to remember this during the Christmas season!

I Have Began Buying Gifts
Submitted by Krisann Blair on Sun, 01/01/2006 - 17:21.It is now January 2006 and I have already purchased almost 40 gifts for next year. I am really excited about the upcoming Christmas season (I know we just got finished with this year!)
Today I will start re organizing my gift closet and working on my gift closet cards to know what I have. I want to also "shop" the best I can out of it and cut down on some of the items I need to purchase.
I think I have some things already in my closet that will knock down quite a few items on my list. Since I am doing this online I will have to figure out how to report on gifts without putting names to them so people do not know what they are getting!
Hope you can work on your gift list this New Year's!

Christmas Ornaments as Gifts
Submitted by Krisann Blair on Thu, 12/29/2005 - 03:52.Well I bought more gifts today!! I found a Christmas store in Ocean City, MD where I am visiting my father at, and everything in it was 50% off! I purchased 3 ornaments and these cool 3D glasses that turn Christmas lights into things (like angles, snowmen, stars, etc.) They were really cool!
Anyway I purchased the ornaments as gifts and they were specific to the people (like a camera for friend who is a photographer and some others I cannot tell about because they may read this blog and know it is for them!)
I like to give ornaments as gifts - especially when they are symbolic of something that person does or likes. It makes for great gifts and at this time you can get them at a great price!

Christmas is in the air at my house
Submitted by Krisann Blair on Sat, 11/11/2006 - 16:51.Yesterday we started really decorating! things are down out of the attic, out of the strorage room and into the living room to begin decorating!ÂÂ
As many of you know last year my house was on a Christmas Home Tour for LANA (Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association) and my decorating was a little different because I wanted things to be "just right" so not all my things were used. So for this reason I am having to incorporate things back into the house that I want to use this year. The problem is these items are not in the "correct place" so it is driving me crazy putting all the pieces back together - but I am getting it done.
