I am a newbie

I am an early bird my tree goes up on the 1st of Nov. I suffer from Depression and it brightens my days to see my tree!

August already!

Another Summer day
Submitted by snowflake on Mon, 07/16/2007 - 23:58.This day is hot and muggy. The air is so heavy with moisture that it's sticky, and that is unusual in Utah. We are a desert state. The garden is green and growing fast. Pumpkins are in bloom. And me, as usual----I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.

After July 4th, I'm anxious to get going. . .
Submitted by snowflake on Fri, 07/13/2007 - 21:14.After the fourth of July, I begin getting the "itch" to start preparing in earnest for Christmas. This year is no different. I am finishing a crocheted afghan that will be entered in the county fair, (as I watch Christmas movies for my own personal "Christmas in July" celebration). After the fair, I can give the afghan to someone special for a Christmas gift. I've already knitted mittens during my "Mittens for Christmas" month back in March. They will be package tie-ons for my children and grandchildren this year.
