Stockings
Little by Little Stockings are Filled
Submitted by FrancesThomas on Fri, 10/21/2005 - 21:57.I buy stocking stuffers at all times of the year, whenever I happen to see something small that is more of a stocking stuffer item & is appropriate for the receiver, whether for my husband or our 2 small dogs. Usually I have one drawer of my dresser that I set aside for this, sometimes it may take two drawers as Christmas nears.
Then when Christmas gets really close, I find a time when my husband will be away for a while and put the dogs in their crate for a nap long enough to take the stocking items out & wrap them and go ahead and stuff the stocking.
Then on Christmas Eve, all I have to do is add any edibles.
Filling all the stockings
Submitted by Trudy Aldridge on Tue, 10/10/2006 - 21:50.I am working on getting all the stocking stuffer stuff right now and it is so much fun. I love finding little things that are just right. I always do the usual stuff,, like toothbrush and fruit for the kids, but this year I am trying to do some fantastic stuff for the teenagers.
Making Stockings,, need help.
Submitted by Trudy Aldridge on Sun, 09/24/2006 - 19:29.I am making Christmas Stockings for 3 teenaged nephews,, and I had in mind to make them from plaid flannel,, like the work shirts. My problem is, how do I make them stiff enough to hold their shape. I have the flannel,, but it seems too soft. I want them to be sturdier. Can anyone give me advice on what to maybe use as a backing??
