Description

this was my favorite cake when i was a kid. it was the one i always asked for on my birthday

Ingredients

  • 1 ea white cake mix
  • 3⁄4 C frozen, sweetened strawberries, thawed
  • 1 ea small box strawberry jello
  • 4 ea whole eggs
  • 1⁄2 C vegetable oil

Instructions

disolve jello in 1/2 cup cold water.... combine all ingredients. pour into a Pam sprayed 9 X 13 cake pan. cook at 350* for 30 minutes. When cool, top with frosting made with: 1/4 cup of the strawberries, 1/2 softened butter and enough powdered sugar to make a spreadable frosting.
