Snowman Soup - New Idea

The idea of snowman soup is so cute and every year I try to some up with a different version of it because it makes such a quick and easy gift for people.  Sometimes I use packaged hot chocolate mixes but really like to put homemade mix in it, which is exactly what I am doing this year.

Last year after Christmas I found some hot drink cups (like those at Starbucks) which have snowflakes all over the cup.  Inside each cup I will put enough of the home-made hot chocolate mix, baggie of dehydrated mini marshmallows (either white or colored for the kids) and a large candy cane to stir it with.  I will then wrap it in cellophane and tie some jingle bells and ribbon on it to complete the gift.  These not only make great Christmas gifts but could be used as "winter time" gifts to give to those you know who may not exchange gifts for Christmas.

This also makes this a gift that does not add to people's "clutter" in their house - including the cup.
