Easy Caramel Pie

Description

This pie is so easy and tasty! It is a creamy sort of caramel, not too stiff and sweet!

Ingredients

  • 2 ea cans of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ea graham pie shell
  • 1 ea container of whipped cream

Instructions

Pour both cans of milk into a double broiler.*

Turn burner to medium heat setting.

Stir milk, occasionally, in broiler until it turns to a golden brown color.

This could take 30-45 minutes.

You can step away and come back, there is no need to stand over it and stir the entire time it cooks.

When brown, pour into pie shell and put in the fridge.

Let cool in fridge for at least 4 hours...overnight is best.

Serve with whipped topping. Enjoy :-)

Notes

* To create a double broiler, take a pot and fill it half way with water. Please a glass bowl over the top of the pot. The bowl should sit on pot, not in it touching the boiling water.
