Starting the Journey Home

Well after a very interesting eventful funeral we are now headed home.  It is still a seven hour drive home.  We have dropped off gifts along the way as well as picked up other gifts along the way.   We will listen to Christmas songs most of the way home today and when we get there we will arrange the gifts under the tree, make some baked goodies, finish up decorating the tree and light a fire and just sit and enjoy our Christmas view.  Of course this is all possible as long as we do not end up in the emergency room as my hubby had pains again yesterday - only time will tell - I just want him to be better - that will be a wonderful Christmas gift!

Well we might stop along the road and check out some last minute holiday sales (Cracker Barell is having a great sale already on their Christmas stuff!)  but not too much as the van might explode!
