Going on Vactaion in December

Well we are now back from a family trip that was supposed to be 12 days but got shortened to 11 as my husband has become very ill on the cruise ship and must return home to a dr. ASAP. Nothing like being at sea and needing a hospital.

Well I have realized one thing about traveling to a warmer climate and away from home (not the kind of travel where you go to family for the holiday) but a true vacation during December - it got me out of the holiday groove. I loved the cruise and had a great time BUT I had no tree to look at each day, no presents to wrap, no lights to turn on each evening, etc. So for me from now on no "vacations" during December.

We still have family to go visit next week if the weather doesn't get too bad.

I hope to be on more the next couple of days depending on what happens at the ER tonight when we get back to Jackson. More on all this later . . .
