Went shopping today - sorta

Well I did go out in the maddness as some call it today and shopped a little.  I had 2 goals - one to get winter type clothes for my daughter (mostly church clothes) and 2 to purchase some items at Toys R Us for my kids' theme gift.  The JCPenny trip went pretty smoothly - the hardest part was finding a parking space.  The line at Toys R Us was terrible but worth it for the money I saved - (about $60) was worth the hour total I spent in there. 

While I had planned to get up and go to JCPenny at 4 am - I did not get up (remember my tips from yesterday about shopping the day after Thanksgiving) as it was not worth it for me to drag out of bed so early - I decided if I missed out on some things then it was ok - I would find other things later.  And while I did not get one thing I wanted because they were all gone - I can pay the $10 I would have saved if they do not go on sale again.  I figure I can find it somewhere on sale - I enjoyed the sleep.

Now I still have some places to run out to this afternoon to pick up a few things that are on sale all day today and hopefully they will still have some but if not it is ok.
