stormy afternoon

Today, we are having a very stormy afternoon. All during last night, the wind blew and rain drops pelted against our bedroom windows. I love it! I suppose you know what I'm going to spend the afternoon doing (after I get off the internet, of course). I'm going to put some Christmas music on the stereo and knit some Christmas gifts. Right now, I'm making little stocking caps for my jars of Christmas-red jelly. These caps have a jingle bell on top instead of a pom-pom, and the jelly is (of course)"Jingle Bell Jelly". I love stormy days inside by the fire. Later on, when it's time for DH and DSs to come home, I'll make a chicken and rice dinner and pull some of the freezer rolls I'm trying out of the freezer. I made the dough and froze it in roll-sized pieces. Now all I have to do is thaw it and let it rise and bake it along with the chicken. It will be great for Thanksgiving dinner, if it works!
