catalogs

I have just received two of the first Christmas catalogs of the year. I love Christmas catalogs, but I can't afford to buy everything in them that I want, so I've become pretty handy at cutting out the pictures and saving them in a Christmas tin for future inspiration. This afternoon, I decided to look through my tin while I waited for hubby and son to come home for lunch. I found a picture of the cutest little string-pieced quilted bag that I've decided to make for a dear quilting friend for her birthday next month. If it turns out well, I'll make one for myself and my Mom as well. The smallest things (like a picture cut from a catalog years ago) can provide a large amount of inspiration!
