Are You Over-Booked, Over-Stressed & Out of Christmas JOY? The Christmas Coach is Here to Help!
working on Christmas gifts
Good morning. I blogged yesterday, but it did not go through I guess.
My update here. Well I started knitting and got 2 scarves done. They are nice and long. Made them with varigated yarn and large needles.
Then I was just goggling and found some free patterns for crochet (my favorite) Hot pads and Pot holders. I crocheted up 4 Hot pads already! The design that I found and did, is a PinWheel design. I like that cause you can use up all your scrap yarns! (I hate to throw anything away, my down fall here) And they are nice and thick. I am planning to do 12. And then I will do some Pot Holders.
Update on the cross stitching. I have almost 1/2 the 1 Christmas Card done. I love it, but it is very hard on the eyes and a very slow process! The one that I have started is a little boy making a snowman. All I have left to do is the boy's pants and the Snowman. Rethinking, I will continue cross stitching but only make special ones for certain people to give at Christmas.
I am finding that while I am making things, that I am also going through alot of my crafting, sewing and crocheting magazines. And tossing out what I think I no longer want. The pile is going down! (Horray) (actually not tossing but listing on a auction site).
Has anyone else started their homemade Christmas gifting yet? And what are you all making??
