Canadian Thanksgiving,,

This past weekend was Canadian Thanksgiving and my wonderful American in laws let me get completely out of control with dinner. We had 18,with just one other Canadian besides me and a great time was had by all. I cooked a 23 lb turkey and all the trimmings,,the desserts were way over the top,,, which my mother in law and sister inlasws help contribute to. I think there were 9 different pies and a chocolate cheesecake. Now that that is out of the way, my Christmas season can begin with a gusto. I have quite a bit done, but I have lots to do yet,, and I found a few wonderful things this weekend at a yard sale. My husband said he wanted a tree for his office and I found a two piece prelit tree,, just 4' tall. It is perfect and it was $5.00. what a deal. I also got a 24" tree to be the center piece of my village this year at the same yard sale for $2.00 and it is decorated and lit. I have decided to go with red and white for my livingroom/dining room/ den. I still have the bedroom and my craft rooms where I can go mad,,,lol Merry Christmas and I will be back with more of the madness soon, Trudy
