Share recipes for dinners that you can make and freeze in October/November and use for dinners at home during December.

"Christmas Tea"

Our family has a favorite drink that we have only around the holidays. I realize this recipe would probably be better posted somewhere else but I couldn't find that place :)  It is really just a spice tea that we adapted.

First empty one can of frozen orange juice into a lrg sauce pan and then add the usual 3 cans of water (you could always use the prepared OJ from a carton). Add a teaspoon or two of allspice and a few dashes of cinnamon and heat to a boil. Add 4 or more tea bags depending on desired strength. Let steep 3 to 5 minutes. Enjoy the tea and the smell throughout your house! Heavenly!

Poppyseed Chicken

I was watching Talk of the Town (Nashville, TN) this morning and they did a recipe for Poppyseed
chicken and that reminded me that that would be a great dish to make
up and freeze for December - it feeds 8-10 so I could make one and
serve 2 meals! So that prompted me to see what other recipes everyone
has for meals we can freeze to help dinner time during December. This
will in turn save you money and have some easy dinners for December!

So please share your recipes

Here is the link to the Poppyseed Chicken recipe (actually to the web site it is on) that I saw on Talk of the Town in Nashville, TN this morning.

I am thinking of making it tonight because I have 2 packages of chicken in my fridge - anyone want to come for dinner? (LOL)
