2006 Christmas Organizing Stocking Swap

The Stocking Swap for 2006 is now closed.  We will be sending out assignments on October 1-3 - if you thought you had signed up and not heard from us please let us know.  Thank you to everyone who is participating this year!  We had a record number of sign ups!

 WELCOME to the 2006 Christmas Organizing Stocking Swap!   

As many of you know we are changing the way we do the swaps because of problems that happened last year and to reduce costs overall for participants.  The biggest difference will be that each person exchange with one other person from the group.   

Register using the contact us form on the navigation box on the left side of the web site (make sure you choose the correct category for the form) during September (the sign up time) and then when your information is received you will be given the name and address of who you are to send a stocking to.  You will be able to select the type of stocking exchange you want to be part of.   You will then prepare your stocking during the month of October and be prepared to ship it out NO LATER THAN the Monday BEFORE Thanksgiving.  All packages will need to be shipped in a way that can be tracked and insured.   

Because of costs and shipping time we can only guarantee exchanges in the USA.   BUT those who live in another country may be put on the waiting list and if we have someone from your country ask to participate we will notify you.  We make every effort to find someone from your country to exchange with you.   If you would like to exchange with someone from a different country you may state that on your registration BUT you will need to send your stocking out no later than October 15^th to allow for shipping.will also send out "requests" through the newsletter/email list if we are looking for someone in a country we do not have more than one person. 

The "insides" of your stocking should be valued between $10 - $15 and the stocking itself should have a retail cost of $5 - $10 (it may have cost you less if you purchased it on sale after Christmas)  NO PLAIN FELT STOCKINGS!   

Here will be the categories we will offer this year: 

Mix-n-Match Stocking - items can be Christmas or not - for adult women
Christmas - contains Christmas themed items
Christmas Kitchen - contains Christmas kitchen related items
Christmas Bath - contains
Christmas Bath related items Child (ages 3 - 7 (both genders) - contains items for children this age
Tween Girl (8-12) - contains items for a girl this age
Tween Boy (8-12) - contains items for a boy this ageMen's Stocking - contains items for men  

There will be a short 10 question survey for each person who registers to participate that will be forwarded to your Christmas JOY friend (the person sending you your stocking) so they will know a little bit about you. Any questions??? - go to: http://www.christmasorganizing.com/node/472  and post any questions in the message board you might have.
