Are You Over-Booked, Over-Stressed & Out of Christmas JOY? The Christmas Coach is Here to Help!
First Steps
I usually begin thinking about Christmas in July. Well, it's here already!! I've started by setting my Christmas Organizing newsletters to come to my email inbox. Then I browsed the website & saw the "blog" feature. I thought that might be a new way to encourage me to follow through with my plans. I like thinking about the holidays, planning the holidays, but I just can't seem to follow-through with them. Maybe this will help. I've never used a format such as this, so I'm not sure if I'll do it "right." I will "copy" this to my personal journal, just in case it doesn't work!
My first step was to look at the reflections from 2005. Wooops! I see that I didn't finish them. So, I'll take this weekend to do that. Print them out, put them in my Cmas NB. My 2nd step - update my "quick list." That should be enough for the weekend. Then, I will browse some other blogs & see if I can get some ideas!

Baking
Today I started my "holiday baking" plans. I've come up with 'categories' to help organize my thoughts. I want a couple recipes in these categories: Breads, Cookies, Candy, Savory, Crunchy. I have a list of 6 that are "musts" & then, so far, a list of 4 new recipes to try. I need to get the ingredients of the recipes "to try" & have them on hand for baking day. I'm thinking I need to start having one day a week designated for baking. Again, I'm always thankful when progress is being made!!
PS - I'm not getting any newsletters, KrisAnn. What can I do about that?
