Time to put away . . .

Today is the day I put the rest of the decorations away. I have most of the trees down, with the exception of the Nativity (memory) tree that is in the dining room because I still need to take some more pictures of it.
I will have the children help me bring down the boxes from the attic and begin unpacking the non-Christmas items and replacing it in the boxes with the Christmas items.
This process hopefully will only take about an hour or two.
Then I will go and take down the outside lights and greenery. It will be in the upper 50's here today.
Back to work for me . ..

Ok so who was I kidding? I
Ok so who was I kidding? I have been working for an hour on things and they are not done! I will quit for a little while and go back to putting away later. I guess when you have 11 trees inside the house plus all the additional decorations it takes a little more than an hour to finish packing everything away. I had already collected many of the items to a central location so it is more of a matter of boxing it up and taking it to the attic. Because this was the first Christmas in this house I am having to rework my storage of decorations. Also we did not use everything we had because of the home tour so I have to work other items back into the storage. I will most likely redo things next year so therefore I am having to tweak how I am storing items.
