Having a Christmas Card making Party.
Submitted by Trudy Aldridge on Tue, 09/20/2005 - 20:52.
I am planning on having a Christmas Card Making day for some of the women in my family,, and a few friends. I am planning on making an event out of it,, serving lunch and having Christmas music on. I have lots of Christmas craft supplies,, but has anyone got any wonderful ideas how to make this an extra special day?
Thanks ahead for any advice,, I have never done this before and I want it to be a success.

Suggestions on doing a card party
I would suggest that you have everyone bring what is need to make a certain numbe of cards, say 12 ro 20 or any number. Each person gets to make some that everyone brought. you could go home with all yours or a mixture. Just doing it in a group is half the fun. I teach a lot of stamping and scrapbooking, everyone enjoys the time together. If you have any other questions please ask.

Christmas Card making party
Hey thats a great idea. To make it special why not make your own invitations. I am a stamper. I make my own cards. Rubber stamping is so much fun. Why not have a stamp party and contact a local rep from stampin up. You can do assembly line cards. Also maybe try a christmas cd as a party favor. Make everyone copies of the music you plan to play and wrap it for them.

Stamping is a cool idea. I have seen some pretty things done. I amde Christmas wrap before with a potatoe for my husband...lol.. it was really nice.
I have bought c.d.'s for everyone already,, I got them in July at Pier One.
Thanks for the ideas

I think that is a great idea. I have never done that but am thinking about having one.
Trudy, how did you make your own wrapping? That sounds very interesting also. Also on the Christmas cards, I guess that would be stamping right? I have some stamps but I don't think I have enough Christmas one's.
Annette,
Can someone tell me how to get my first name off the top of the comment?
