As a former school Librarian I have always had a deep love of books.

Most of the year my books are housed in bookcases, except for those books I am currently reading.  In the last few years I have started displaying my Christmas Books.  They were very easy to purchased some very nice plate easels, which make an excellent way to display my books.

I have special Christmas Cook books on display in the kitchen.  Children Books are placed on the hearth and interspersed with old family toys.  I will place a wonderful coffee table book on yes you guess it the coffee table!  I have a collection of Christmas Miracles in the guest bathroom and novels in the guest bedrooms.

It is a special joy to me to watch family and friend come for a visit and to see them pick up a book and lose themselves in the story.

Every year in the after Christmas sales I will try to find something new to add to my collection.  This is also a wonderful opportunity to purchase a book for that person who has really expressed an interest in one of my books.  Here are just a few:
