Christmas Organizing - begining to put the plan into action!

Ok I know for many of you it is still too early to start thinking about actually putting your plan into action - but not for me! I spent yesterday going through my gift sheves and beginning to prepare gifts to be wrapped and boxed up for mailing!

The next thing I have started working on and will hopefully get to put it into action today if it doesn't rain is that I have began staging the outside lights and garland to come down from the attic and to the front side porch. I hope to get the lights hung around the house in the next day or two.

I have November 7th scheduled to make my Christmas cards but I need to go and purchase envelopes for them. So my list is starting to stack up but I am loving it! I have a plan and I am sticking to it!

Just thought I would add this, we don't do Halloween at our house , just hand out sm. amount of candy. Usually I have decorated something " Autumn," like clear or amber lights & a wreath about end of August. During October, I fill out my Christmas cards & ready them for November. Day after Thanksgiving , they go out , First thing. Don't always have money for gifts at Christmas so at least they get a card & know they are thought of . I always get comments & Thanks. One friend & I try to see which one of us gets their Christmas card out first. It has gone on for year's.
