Addition

I need to add "drinks" to my baking category!  I want to put in my hot choc mix!

I like it when....

... progress is being made!  Today I spent 30 minutes on my Christmas notebook.  I printed out my "activity" sheet with Thanksgiving, Christmas, our personal Family Holiday Weekend, & "ramblings."  It's where I just start to gather ideas.  Then, I printed out a December calendar.  I added main meals for the whole month of December.  Boy, does that feel good!!  I also got my "gift list" idea sheet printed out.  Listed everyone that we'll be getting gifts for.  I then updated my personal "annual Christmas planning" sheet.  I haven't worked on it since last year, so I have some back tracking to do.  :-)  I feel I got a lot done for just 30 minutes!!  Thanx for providing a forum to 'report in' to Kris!

First Steps

I usually begin thinking about Christmas in July.  Well, it's here already!!  I've started by setting my Christmas Organizing newsletters to come to my email inbox.  Then I browsed the website & saw the "blog" feature.  I thought that might be a new way to encourage me to follow through with my plans.  I like thinking about the holidays, planning the holidays, but I just can't seem to follow-through with them.  Maybe this will help.  I've never used a format such as this, so I'm not sure if I'll do it "right."  I will "copy" this to my personal journal, just in case it doesn't work!

My first step was to look at the reflections from 2005.  Wooops!  I see that I didn't finish them.  So, I'll take this weekend to do that.  Print them out, put them in my Cmas NB.  My 2nd step - update my "quick list."  That should be enough for the weekend.  Then, I will browse some other blogs & see if I can get some ideas!
